Recently I have become more and more interested in natural skin care. Intro the South African brand Skin Creamery…
But let me first give you a little bit more background!
Call it the effects of ageing (yes, 30’s – I see you! (every time I look in the mirror!)) or the effects of three kids and sleep deprivation…Or the effects of three kids and sleep deprivation… my skin has been through a lot in the last 7 or 8 years or so! So now I am feeling the need to ‘give back’! I have been doing a lot of research on skin products and decided to give natural skin care a try. I think this goes hand-in-hand with my desire to have a more sustainable lifestyle. (Call this another random side-effect of motherhood – the urge to protect the earth as we know it and leave something worth having behind for our children) I am also far more aware of what chemicals I am putting into (or on) my body…

Firstly – although this is probably a bit trivial- but then again, this blog is about pretty, right? I must just say that the packaging is absolutely gorgeous! From the beautiful box to the glass bottles that the products are packaged in – Skin Creamery definitely ticks all the right boxes for me when designing packaging for their products!
I also think it’s worth saying that we have many absolutely fantastic skin care brands in South Africa – there are a few still on my wish list to try! We are spoilt for choice! I am also a believer in supporting local where possible.
How does my skin feel when using Skin Creamery products?
