Valentine’s Day is upon us! It’s time to start thinking about gifts for friends, family and loved ones! My daughter is 5 years old now and absolutely adores doing anything crafty, so this year we decided to get creative and make something special for her friends at school. I wanted to mix it up and not gift something edible this year – and what better way to do that than with a simple, yet sweet “You’re tutu sweet” gift?
One of my favourite things about Valentine’s Day is to show my love and appreciation to those around me. I love giving gifts and being creative. However, I was mindful that I didn’t have a lot of time this year to put this together… So this quick and easy project was the perfect fit!
This sweet gift consists of a little card that reads “You’re Tutu Sweet!” and features a picture of a bunny ballerina. (Of course I couldn’t resist adding the bunny 😉). The scrunchie is then slipped onto the card so that it looks like the bunny ballerina’s ‘tutu’. The scrunchie is made from a soft, stretchy material which makes it perfect for any girl’s hairstyle!
How to make this Valentine’s Gift
To make this gift, simply print out the printable card, cut it out, and attach the scrunchie. (You can use a small piece of double-sided tape on the back of each card to hold the scrunchie securely into place). It’s a simple and quick project that is perfect for busy moms, or as a last-minute gift idea… And it didn’t hurt that my daughter had lots of fun helping put the scrunchies onto the cards! 😊
