Mmmm…this photo is so fitting! Of all the small indulgences in life (see top post number 8) macarons are one of the things that I take true delight in! I love serving them at celebrations and events, and love eating them for afternoon tea when it’s just our little family equally as much!

Well, if you follow me on Instagram it will come as no surprise to you that I absolutely love love love flowers. To me flowers not only fill my home with their beautiful fragrance, but they also provide me with so much joy just by being able to look at them.

Even although I don’t do too much reading with my house full of small kids at the moment – I love nothing more than picking up a beautiful book and flipping through a few pages – a few moments of tranquillity in a busy day feeds my soul.

And it couldn’t possibly be any more fitting.
This man is my rock, my solid ground, my supporter, my cheerleader, my best friend and everything big and small in between.
He takes the good and the bad days in his stride – and I’m so glad that I get to have him as not only my supporter but also as my mentor. I learn so much from him and admire his love for life and always seeing the good in everything.
