Today I would like to share with you the super cute and easy Valentine’s treats that I made for my daughter to take to school to give to everyone in her class…
They are really super quick and easy to make – and can be decorated however you would like to – I have used them often as party treats as well, and they are always very well received – I don’t think I have ever had any left over!
Finding things that are quick and easy to make is high up on my priority list these days, but I still like it to be cute and of course…pretty! This super easy Valentines’ treat ticks all the right boxes!
So let’s get right to it, shall we?
What you’ll need for these super Easy Valentine’s Treats
- Gossips (wafer filled biscuits – I like to use Vanilla, but you can use any flavour of your choice)
- Melting chocolate (white shows up your decorations nicely , but it’s entirely up to you if you would prefer to use darker chocolate)
- Sprinkles or decorations of your choice
- Clear plastic packaging
- Ribbon
- Printable label
- Faux miniature flower roses (optional)
Method
- Melt some chocolate of your choice over boiling water or in the microwave.
- Take each wafer biscuit and dip it into the melted chocolate – I prefer to put my chocolate into a narrower container so that I can dip more of the length of the wafer into it.
- Working quickly – before the melted chocolate hardens – decorate your wafers with sprinkles or other edible decorations.
- Allow to harden on a silicone sheet or wax paper.
- Package and prettify! (If that is even a word!)
I designed two free printable labels for these wafer treats – just click on the download button below the image to download!
I hope you enjoy making these super easy Valentine’s treats!
