Train with Christmas phyllo parcels

My apologies for my slightly random way of posting on the blog these days! Because, despite it being the most festive and fun time of the year – it also happens to be something of the busiest time of the year too… Well for me, anyway! #amitheonlyone?

But it is also one of my favourites! Festive, fun school carol services and Nativity plays, wrapping teacher’s gifts… (By the way, have you bought a copy of my Christmas Gift Wrapping Ebook yet? I give step-by-step instructions for wrapping the prettiest gifts…don’t miss it! You can grab your copy here!) I love this time of the year as it is a chance to reflect and embrace our children’s growth, progress and development!

If you’ve been reading my blog for a little while, you might recall a similar post to this one from last year about my daughter’s play group Nativity Concert…

But if not – here’s a short summary! (Or you can click here to read last year’s post!)

Red and white Christmas tree

Every year the mommies (or daddies!) are asked to bring a festive plate of eats to the Nativity concert. There are prizes awarded to the best ones!

It is such fun and I have thoroughly enjoyed doing it for the last six (can it really be SIX?!?) years…!

I thought I would share some of the plates of eats with you from this year’s Nativity Concert… Are you ready to be inspired?

And the third prize went to …

In second place was this little cutie…

And first place went to the ‘Christmas pudding’!

My Collection of CHRISTMAS Trees

This year I decided to make a Christmas tree collection from the Australian Women’s weekly recipe book Christmas… Take a peek at how they turned out! (There are lots of other fabulous Christmas recipes in this book as well! You can purchase a copy by clicking on the image below!)

Mud pie and "white Christmas" Christmas tree cones

It is such a fabulous and easy recipe! And although I didn’t win a prize these gorgeous little Christmas trees were such fun to make and decorate!

I hope I can inspire you to create these cuties for a festive and fun occasion of your own!
